It combines the simplicity and convenience of an all-in-one design with the versatility of an integrated CD-ROM drive and high-quality stereo sound. In addition to a standard 1.4 megabyte Apple SuperDrive™ disk drive, the Macintosh LC 520 comes with a double-speed CD-ROM drive, front mounted stereo speakers, and a built-in 14-inch Trinitron® color display. Plus a 25-megahertz 68030 processor to make it twice as fast as a Macintosh LC II.
Internal hard drive options include 80- and 160-MB hard disks, for plenty of storage space. The optional math coprocessor gives you the power you need for computation-intensive tasks, such as calculating complex spreadsheets or graphics work.
Multiple ports let you expand the Macintosh LC 520 with peripherals like scanners and modems. And the LC processor-direct slot assures fast access to high-speed expansion cards for video output or Ethernet networking.
